Add One Thing tells you one thing to add to a meal so it fills you up. It has no accounts, no login, and no tracking. This page says exactly what leaves your device and what never does.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| The meal you type | To work out what to add | Our server, only when your device cannot answer locally. Never stored with anything that identifies you. |
| Eating context (at home, at work, out, no kitchen) | To pick suggestions that fit | Sent with the meal |
| Dietary flags you set (allergens, preferences) | To exclude unsafe or unwanted suggestions | Sent with the meal. Never stored beside an identifier. |
| Language setting | To answer in your language | Sent with the meal |
| A random install ID | Rate limiting and your daily free-check count | Our server and RevenueCat. Not linked to you as a person. Reset when you reinstall. |
| Notification activity | To send mealtime reminders and stop sending them when you drift away | OneSignal, our push provider. Counts of sessions and notification taps, not what you typed. |
What we never collect
- Your name, email, phone number, or contacts
- Your location
- Advertising identifiers, or any data for advertising or tracking
- Data from Apple Health, Google Fit, or any health platform
- Body weight, measurements, calories, or any nutrition totals. The app does not compute them.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. We never see your payment details. You can restore purchases on a new device from Settings.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling removes everything held on the phone. To have the anonymous records held by our push and payments providers removed as well, email support@dmvaceapp.com and we will delete them. There is no account to close, so nothing else is held.
Stored on your device only
Your kitchen items, dislikes, saved combinations, and recent meals stay on your phone. They are not uploaded and do not survive uninstalling the app.
Children
The app is rated for everyone and contains no content for infants or children under two. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Questions: support@dmvaceapp.com.
Add One Thing offers food ideas, not medical or dietetic advice.
